Rich nose with notes of leather and licorice. Full bodied, rich, potent, strong tannins, long aromatic finnish. Will develop further with some years in the cellar. — 6 years ago
Excellent! Smooth, not too dry and not sweet. Easy drinking and can be drank alone. May not stand up to bold food flavours. — 7 years ago
Quite possibly the most reduced wine I've opened all year. Like curling up in a tire factory. But. After an hour, a beautiful, light, red fruited and amazingly aromatic wine emerged, grounded by hot rocks and Sicilian spirit. Nice value and killer pizza wine. — 8 years ago
Smooth. Fruit forward. Easy to drink. Bright fruits. — 9 years ago
Sweet. At Komi. — 11 years ago
Required almost 2 hours of decanting. It was quite the experience because this Barolo continued to evolve and provide new flavours throughout the night. Plums, figs, berries, strawberries, raspberries, followed by vanilla, oak, humidor notes, earth, mild herbaceousness, truffles. Tannins are big, chewy but soft and persist for a long time. It’s a complex wine that provides gifts of new flavours that are very well integrated. — 5 years ago

Wonderful as always. We are doing a tasting between big Bordeaux glasses vs regular white glasses vs champagne glasses. I preferred the champagne glass my wife the big Bordeaux glass. Love the fresh floral notes. — 8 years ago
Great for a peppery seared fish , Recommended by Mario, fantastic selection on his end. Only 24$ and the dinner guests like it — 8 years ago

A bit rough when just opened, but after about an hour of breathing, it opens up beautifully. — 6 years ago

Still too young but a thrilling ride. — 8 years ago
We love this. The best organic red yet. Medium light, smoky, with dry finish. — 9 years ago
Feels like infanticide to drink such a young Barolo, but a lot going on here already. Powerful yet delicate with nice crushed dark fruit notes. — 10 years ago
