Black cherry, cherry blossom, carnation and a lime and lemon with a lemongrass touch, on a fresh strawberry nose, salted watermelon, lemon zest and nearly ripe strawberry, raspberry, and tangerine pith. Absolutely made for sushi! #franciacorta #methodoclassico #bubbles #RicciCurbastro #sparkling #spumante #rose #rosébrut — 6 years ago
Lightly toasted yeasty bread and the barest hint of citrus rind without any of the tartness. Bubbly without being frothy. — 7 years ago

Wonderful sparkling wine! Complex in flavour and perfect with every part of the meal! — 7 years ago
Dare I say, this has totally convinced me that Franciacorta is as good as the French stuff. Ca'del Bosco's flagship. A little more Pinot Noir than their NV cuvee (20%, 55% Chard, 25% Pinit Bianco). Made only in the finest years.
10 years, but still so fresh. Spent 8 years on lees. Perhaps a little new wine in the dosage to give that extra lift? Full bodied, fine fine bubbles, pear, peach, dried apricots, bready. Persistent finish. So good! — 8 years ago
Roscioli wine. Excellent sparking, nice slight sweetness to balance the acidity. — 5 years ago
Very soft and full open on the palate. Light but distinct floral bouquet on the nose. Apple and pomelo rind on the open with brioche on the finish. — 6 years ago
Stunning bouquet. Paired beautifully with the crab legs with jalapeño butter and grilled corn. One of the best values in bubbly I’ve had. $35-$40 @ Houston Wine Merchant. — 6 years ago
Vanilla. Oaked. 25 months on lees. Lots of bubbles. Very dry. Sharp acidity. — 7 years ago
Great quality, fresh but long on the finish. It was beautiful with truffle tagliatelle — 7 years ago
Mid gold. Fine mousse with pronounced minerality. A blend of the classic Champagne varieties - usually around 70 Chardonnay 30 Pinot Noir. Palate of Green apple and lively acid. Excellent fizz. No more cellaring required. The vintage as indicated by the label is 2005 not 2013. — 8 years ago
Marconna and burnt orange; A very pretty bubbly! — 5 years ago
Delish! Bright, delicate — 6 years ago
The best of these rival Champagne for pure quality, without a doubt. I particularly love this 100% Chardonnay displaying intense minerality and beautiful, soft effervescence (Satén= less than 5 atmospheres pressure). Blossoms, stone fruit, hint of brioche. Wonderfully composed, pure and complex vintage blend. — 6 years ago
Non rimane acido in bocca. — 7 years ago
oh-oh. a lot of patisserie, salty and long, lively fresh, fine bubbles, superb. — 7 years ago
My first Franciacorta. Squarish bottle. They should ditch that. — 7 years ago
Thoroughly enjoyable. Medium texture. — 8 years ago
