Was absolutely delicious, until I tasted the Shotfire Shiraz 2012 also from Thorn-Clarke, which bested it. — 10 years ago
Have I had better, yes. Is this worth 6.99 at total wine... I would pay twice that and would've been pleased. Med-full bodied, but very light drinking. Tiny baby tannins. Fruit is pronounced, but not overpowering. Good table wine for everyday meats. — 11 years ago
Visited this winery last September, instant olfactory memory. Lush dark fruits, silky structure, balanced tannins. I miss Tuscany. — 11 years ago
Delicious! My girlfriend shared this gift with me just to drink. Went well with a hummus snack though and I would definitely seek out this gem again. Would love to try it with beef or red pasta. — 11 years ago
Nice and smoky with a slight earthy aftertaste. Not the best I've had but I would purchase this one again. — 12 years ago
More acidic than I like. Body is a bit off. — 10 years ago
Needs to breathe. After an hour aromas are much more pleasant. Smooth soft vanilla and a dark fruit I am unable to identify. Plum? Not too sweet. Not too tart. Not smoky. I think its a nicely complex for the price. Would recommend and buy again — 10 years ago
Spicy, sweet, balanced, seductive pinot. Best 08 I have had next to Beaux Freres Beaux Freres. Exceptional. — 11 years ago
Citrusy. Tasty. Nice summer wine. — 11 years ago
Si el deixeu oxigenar-se una bona estona, trobareu fruits vermells i minerals, i fins i tot un punt de cafè. En boca es robust i rodó, torrat, te un puntet d'aspror i un final tranquil i no massa llarg. Molt bo! — 12 years ago
Kryddig, bra syra och medeltaniner som nog kommer integreras väl efter ett par år i ryggläge. — 12 years ago

I love this. Funky and ridiculously aromatic on the front — 10 years ago
Excellent full bodied and bold red blend. I got it from a local wine and cheese pairing event. This is not a readily available wine, but if you can find it buy it! — 11 years ago
One of the better Cour-Cheverny wines I've tasted: a statement that says everything but also nothing. Less unpleasantly oxidative than Daridan, more interesting than de Montcy and Cazin and at much frendlier price than Henri Marionnet. For the money I think this is the best that's out there-- Golden apple skin, celery, tarragon. — 11 years ago

I really like this wine. It's like a southern French red and goes really well with food. Not as powerful as some Spanish reds but I like that. — 9 years ago
