Needs to breathe. After an hour aromas are much more pleasant. Smooth soft vanilla and a dark fruit I am unable to identify. Plum? Not too sweet. Not too tart. Not smoky. I think its a nicely complex for the price. Would recommend and buy again

A fine example of why I search out Spanish reds when I don't want to spend a lot but desire a more complex and interesting wine. Spices, blackberries, graphite, black cherries...lingering finish...richer fruit with that touch of the land itself that I adore. A new favorite for sure.
