This was a great wine. Not too sweet and great depth. — 9 years ago
Delocious and open knot. Big blue fruit couched with nice tannin. — 9 years ago
Merengue to sea sponge crown gets downright "swissy" then steadily decomposing to cirrocumulus postures. Honey, pineapple and candied lemon complement innately, sugary grapefruit follows, shimmering under a soft snowfall of magnolia blossom, honeysuckle and honeydew, then teasing away from a coquettish sweetness through marmalade to a wooden knot brimming with shadowy crisps of burnt brown sugar, cinnamon and tobacco leaf, with just a cursory sip of lemon iced tea. Fragrant, multi-faceted and loaded with mind food. — 10 years ago
Big, brambly, cedar, cloves and blackberries, rambunctious tannins and toasty oak. $29. Total yum! — 10 years ago
Very nice, and rich with hints of cherry, and other berries. Great to pair with steak, and a salad with other fruits. — 10 years ago

Bonitata boutique wine in Auburn Ca's new naked bottle club release reserve wine tangled red is quite enjoyable. Good bright color, forward fruit with just a hint of bite at the end. A new enjoyable blend from a new clubs first release, cant wait to pick up some more next time we are in town! — 8 years ago

The woods at night after the hot tub with the perfect top knot: the stars align. — 8 years ago
Quite a surprise! Wonderfull semi-sparkling orange wine. Floral and herb notes on the nose... a little sourness. A little different on the palette - quite sweet with some nutty bitterness tangled with slight sweet apple flavors. Light on alcohol - 10.5%. A must try! — 9 years ago
Next up is Volnay. Village-level from Giroud. This bottle makes me amazed at how the color of wine from the same grape can vary so much between nearby villages. This wine is bright red (like diluted oxygenized blood) and although the nose is full of typical PN notes of warm strawberries and raspberries, some forest and stable aromas, and new oak - it has de/light/ful freshness and flowery perfumed scent and aftertaste. Tannins are silky and small and acid level skyhigh and fresh. Perhaps a little too much oak for my taste but a very nice experience. The wine complemented quite well the assortment of italian sausages and kaltbach cheese. Freddy Kempf -- on a long Steinway sounding off Busoni's arrangement of Bach's Chaconne -- tied the knot of a perfect cellar moment. Cheers! — 10 years ago

Continuing the festivities. Wait, this is November right? Beautiful Rose, strawberry, good acidity, minerality — 11 years ago
The garnet/purple '12 Shingleback Shiraz 'Red Knot' offers a rich nose of black cherry, plum and earth aromas with secondary hints of spice, tar, licorice and dark cocoa. The medium-bodied mouth is lively with huge jammy blackberry and anise flavors, with subtle oak and smooth tannins. Vibrant long finish. A lot of wine for the money! — 11 years ago

Tobacco and mahogany tempered by gladiolus. Toxic masculinity meets female strength. Delicious and long overdue. I am thinking maybe I got this at Whole Foods? Update: I did get this at WF, and there is just something so exotic about a blend containing Nero D’Avola. I will keep buying it just as surely as I will keep returning to Sicily to gaze at its tangled vines from the top of a cliff. — 7 years ago
