The Power of Three Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, USA
This has Sonoma and Monterey county grapes to go with the Santa in it. Classy label with a Celtic knot on it. Light, bright ruby red color. Smells like Pinot Noir. Hints of redwood bark meets red berries and wet rocks. Flavors are well balanced and complex. Bit fruit driven, but there is a bittersweet side here too. The blend of three locales worked out pretty well, and they didn’t just write ‘California’ which is nice.
