A fine pink Mourvèdre for early enjoyment — 7 years ago
Soft supple great acid, red mixed berries little bit of vanilla on the finish. Soft but not integrated tannins. Should age quite well over the next year or two. Missing the intrigue I look for in syrah at this point. — 9 years ago

A lesson in managing pyrazines? Great oak integration, what's left is a bit of black fruit, eucalyptus, green pepper, and good structure. — 9 years ago
Banging apricot white peach, good acidity and appreciate the half malo. It got the points for a reason. — 10 years ago
This 2011 Tamarack Cellars Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Reserve Red Mountain Bordeaux Blend. 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 29% Cabernet Franc.
The aromas are full of dark fruit, black raspberry, black cherry, black currant, cocoa, violets, tobacco, spice, clean soil and a mineral component.
The palate confirms the nose. There is exciting dark fruit, cherry, black raspberry, black currant, clove, mocha, black pepper, graphite and an earthy soil.
This wine is full bodied with a silky smooth mouth feel. There is medium + Tannin, medium + acidity with a long smooth finish. Very impressed with this wine. Happy Fathers Day and have a safe rest of the weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 7 years ago
This wine still packed a lot of flavor despite being 15 years old. Incredibly smooth at the same time. Wish I had more! — 8 years ago

Very solid Cab Franc, low acidity and some plums and cherries notes, grassy on the nose , my only complaint feels like it’s missing earthyness from the cab franc, but not a bad wine at all ... a little earthier it would be 9.3 — 6 years ago
