This was a very nice sip! — a year ago
I must say: I love, absolutely love, casual wine. There’s something about an inexpensive, above average, good tasting bottle of wine that just makes you feel mischievous after every sip; like you got away with it… if you like that feeling, try this. Plus, can’t beat that label. — 2 years ago

From Graham winery in Portugal. Great smooth red — a year ago
Delicious. Is that the least or most useful tasting note? But this is. It’s is a rich dish that someone thought fit to squeeze a lemon on to brighten that dish up. The new oak is in play and probably the biggest factor, but the acid is there—somehow gently cutting through.
Something still keeps it from being transcendent but you are definitely going to desire a second glass. — 3 years ago
In 1912, Andrew James Symington became a partner in Dow's and today, five members of the fourth generation Symington family own and manage this historic house. 10 Years" indicates an average age – this Aged Tawny Port is a blend of older wines, matured in oak casts. Amber color with aromas of sweet dried fruits, citrus and nutty notes. On the palate sweet ripe fruit, vanilla oak, ending with fig and cacao notes. Smooth, Nice value. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
Usually don't like ports, but apparently that was because I hadn't tried the right one. Yum! — 8 years ago
2021 vintage. Quinta da Fonte Souto is the first project from the Symingtons outside the Douro region. A 207 hectares estate with a around 45 hectares od vineyards in a cooler climate ( 500 m alitude) than the Alentejo plains. Florão is the entry level. This 2021 is a blend of Arinto ( 80%) and Verdelho ( 20%). Attractive nose with fresh ripe pineapple, flowers and a hint of fresh mint. Crisp and juicy. Very good value. — a year ago
A nice blend from Alentejo… black cherry and some licorice on the palate. April 2022. — 2 years ago
