This is magical. You know when a white is really open for business and showing the benefit not detriment of oxidation? This is that. Compelling and mature and probably in its best spot. Wow, so different then the 2015 Sancerre I just had. You can tell this is slightly older. Minerality, ripe fruit on the nose. Some not overly tart lime the palate. The last one was very one dimensional, while this one is two dimensional. — 9 years ago

No. 2 in the Vosne Romanee bracket. Some spirity oak notes. A sweetness to the palate with drying fine Tannins. Re- tasting:- Not quite up to the others in this bracket in terms of weight.
