Happy Summer! Who wants a Spritzer!?
Wine only review -
Serious nose (not artificial foo foo) Mango, coconut, white sugar, deeper richer sugar note in the direction of brown sugar (?Candied Pecans?!), ethyl alcohol (18% abv)
Same fruit & sugar notes on the pallet, higher alcohol is noted in the finish.
Impression: Been curious, Dry, Clean profile, not the horrific big American corporate artificial “Glade Spray” I was expecting. I can rock it on its own, prefer it with a mixer (higher alc). Props! — 7 years ago

This South African Bordeaux style blend is full-bodied and chewy. It is fruit forward, with black cherry and dark chocolate flavors. It has a bit of graphite to the dusty finish. — 7 years ago
The son of the father of DR Stevens. Lots of ruby dark currants. Blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, mid red fruits pull up the rear. While the son is well trained by the father, his wine pushes the high alcohol burn limit right to the edge. Lots of baking spices, spice, crushed dry rocks, rich black soil, lavender, dry red roses, round acidity, and rich, big, well balanced long finish. Needs 10 more years. — 7 years ago

Really pleasant wine this. Fruit coming from mount compass way. Fresh fruits, tomato leaf and no real oak influence. — 9 years ago
Blinded this with Dad, thought it was like powerful unoaked chard (shows how little semillon we drink), in great shape with good concentration and a litmus for the region. — 6 years ago
Peachy and a little tropical fruit but not too much. Dry but not astringent. Like a balance between a French and Australian SB. Lip-smacking. — 7 years ago
This is the Eric Stevens, excellent wine, feels thick and full on the palate, chocolate and mint, no sign of fruit cake notes, — 7 years ago
Wonderful. You wont realize you drank the entire bottle until you have an unremovable smile and dancing tastebuds. — 8 years ago
Outstanding mid aged Hunter Semillon. Extremes fresh, crisp and very, very good. Great life. - Phil Laffer — 8 years ago

Zinfandel: 5% from Yountville
Petite Sirah: 5% from Saint Helena
Petit Verdot: 2% from Saint Helena

Deep purple color. Aromas of pencil, blackberry jam and cocoa powder. Rich, black fruit on the palate, pepper and smoked cedar finish. Superb! — 5 years ago
