Aroma of honeydew, melon vine, prosciutto - pleasing to say the least. Tastes like clean river bottom slate and soft pear/apple play. The oxidization comes out as a pleasant onion skin/sherry note. Really enjoying this. Not a mind blowing wine but made for pork. Butter.

This was delicious with halibut braised in tomatoes and pancetta ( Molly Stevens- AllAbout Braising). The wine held its own with food that was bursting with flavor - it did not overwhelm.
