Tasty - golden apple, pear, flowers but goes a little green apple on palate - need to retaste! — 9 years ago
Chambers Street got me excited about this producer who is not related or connected with the other Magnien families in Burgundy. The aromatics on this wine permeate their surroundings right out of the bottle and get stronger and more precise over the course of the evening. Perfumed florals & resonant red berry notes. I was surprised by the power on the palate, some darker berry notes hit right away with some silky tannins to frame the sappy, but far from cloying fruit. Texturally, this brings finesse & brightness which augments my salmon & beet salad as well as anything possibly could. A producer well worth paying attention to. — 9 years ago
Refined and nicely balanced with full body and rich fragrance — 10 years ago
Clear burgundy color. Floral, red fruit nose. Austere red fruit, some red licorice, and some earthy dryness on the back end. Lingers a bit. Tight. Not sure what it will do after being open. — 10 years ago
Obviously too young, wanted to show a dear someone a Vin Jaune. — 11 years ago

This 2015 is a great value. A little thin mid palate, but a very good bordeaux representation for around $20 USD — 7 years ago
This smooth, berry blend makes for a wonder night cap after a filling pasta dinner! No bite, very lite in flavor. Great price here in the Ozarks. — 8 years ago
Coming along nicely. — 9 years ago
Inky violet red. Green pepper is less prominent and the body is juicier and fruitier than other cheap Bordeaux I've had. Oak age defines this: the tannins are big but silked out considerably, and the aroma and finish are decidedly that pruney oak deal. Part of me likes the sharp raw green pepper thing, but this is much more drinkable. This is a buy-again winner. — 10 years ago
