Cloudy AF. Super sour in a way that matched the tartness and gaminess of a yogurt sauce on lamb meatballs. Ocean spray & hi-c juice. — 5 years ago
Well integrated Cabernet Franc. Dark plum and blackberry fruit flavors. Big hints of green pepper with notes of earth and slate. A bit of a medicinal flavor on the finish. Low acid and can be served chilled. One of their last Long Island vintages. — 6 years ago
Absolutely gorgeous from nose to finish. Light body and low alcohol but bursting with berry and floral flavor. It smells like compote cooking and drinks like early summer in a bottle. Wet and funky, this is a bottle to experience. — 7 years ago

Utterly lovely, unclichéd sparkling rosé - this isn’t a tossed-off afterthought, it’s refreshing and intriguing. — 4 years ago
The Southold experience asks you reintroduce yourself to familiar grapes. There is no typicity so throw your schooling out the window.Love Just Because is purple brown Dolcetto that smells like sour wild blueberries and beef jerky steeped in iodine. It’s bloody and meaty - metallic and full of salt. Also pulpy and fruity and sour and nothing you’ve seen before. — 5 years ago
It’s Southold, so you know I’m in. Serious question for those in the know... is there another Texas producer doing the type of cool stuff that SF+C is? Because you can basically sign me up for a case right now. Døk picked up raisins and cherry cola and frankly that’s spot on. — 6 years ago

Long Island Teroldego, en magnum. I wish I had 100 more bottles of this wine. — 7 years ago
A little “funkier” than I’m used to, but still smooth and easy. Not too sweet. — 7 years ago
One of my favorite wines ever. Period. — 7 years ago
Dark fruits. Deep red. Low tannins. Acidic. Yeast fermentation. Delicious. Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. — 8 years ago
Cloudy, medium ruby. Fresh, fruit-driven nose. Good acidity, notes of licorice, leather, and sour cherry. Smooth, lingering finish, more acidity than tannins. What I’m saying is, while drinkable now, it’ll reward more time before uncorking. — 5 years ago
Regan Meador somehow quiets shouting grapes to a whisper. All Good Things is...all good things - a blend of Texas Tempranillo, Merlot, and Ruby Cabernet at about 11% - how he gets to these levels I have no idea. This is stemmy and light, brambly and harmonic. And you can taste the individual contributions - spiced cedar (Tempranillo), blackberry and raspberry jam (Merlot), and red currant cinnamon (Ruby Cab). — 6 years ago
This wine was the BOMB! Light sparkling red that had me wishing I had bought another bottle. Smelled a little floral and a little like talc, my friend commented it was like a pretty old compact you find in your grandmothers makeup drawer. — 7 years ago
