This wine is in its prime. Silky smooth tannins, rich mocha, black plum and baking spices. Very well developed with moderate acidity. The balance is truly incredible. An amazing farewell to NAPA Tony!!! Exceptionally done and it is aging beautifully! — 4 years ago
Juicy red berries with a hint of pepper velvety texture, could drink this every day! Perfectly balanced acid and fruit. — 6 years ago
Great Pinot. As with the 2012s, the Dundee hills was my favorite of the 2014 Origins series. Juicy acidity and silky mouthfeel makes for an irresistible wine — 7 years ago
Smoky flavor with hint of tobacco, dark berries including deep cherry and blackberries. Delicious! — 7 years ago
This is the best of all Oregon pinots - and I’ve tasted a lot! White label, 2009, magnum. It is integrated, balanced, full bodied - not cherry juice as so many (CA) pinots are. Took a lot to wait 12 years before drinking it, but the result is why we care about beautiful wines. Just superb! — 3 years ago

Cf and merlot, old tony soter vineyard. Nice herbal nose with big dark brooding fruit.
Baking chocolate and dryness. Nice tannins. — 6 years ago
Impressive 2013 when most fell flat on their faces and made a Pinot that resembled rose, Serene came through this Yamhill is Cristomisk balanced cause it's usual over the top gloss and power is restrained and leaves a beautiful balance of structure and elegance, the top wineries continue to shine regardless of the year Soter, Cristom, Serene... etc St. Innocent — 7 years ago
