[Bottom of neck fill] This seems mature, just a little of a green note detracts, but otherwise nicely balanced fruit, medium-long finish, very good!

Black currant, black fruits, faint green olive undertone, still pretty solid structure, a tad tannic, stil has years ahead of it.

Dried fruits, some mineral and green notes also, structure still there, more firm than elegant, solid finish, good if just a tad drying.

3rd wine of the 1987 flight. Excellent fruit and balance. Delicious!

Cut my teeth here. Dan duckhorn was a terroir sniffing God. Would guess the cab I this bottling came from stout on hm, vine hill ranch, spottswoode, stelzner merlot jj Cohn. Guy new great vineyards he and T Soter new where the kind was at.

Drink it now, it's not going to improve (I waited too long but it's still drinking nicely).
