Nice body, lemon — 3 months ago
Pleasantly floral and slightly herbal, the 2021 Soave II Selene opens with green apple, candied lime and sweet sage aromas. Soft and supple, with crisp acids, the Selese finishes long and full of tension, leaving traces of Granny Smith apple and a salty minerality. $13.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2023) — 2 years ago
Pear, salt-preserved lemon, tarragon, honey, ginger and lovely minerality. Beautiful textural component that is balanced with rather bracing acidity. This wine has settled down considerably from a few months ago when I gave it a pass. Beautiful pairing with seafood/mushroom risotto. Outstanding. — 4 years ago

Flowery but dry Veronese Soave (Garganega) good balance of citrus and minerality, at The Urban Grape in the South End, Boston — 6 years ago
2023 vintage.
To say this is entry level Soave would do it no justice.
Garanega grapes from 30 year old vines grown in Basaltic volcanic soil. 100 % stainless steel production.
Shiny green gold in colour.
Mineral driven with notes of wild yellow flowers, golden apples, marzipan and almonds.
Crisp acidity on the finish.
This wine begs for scallops regardless how you prepare them. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Consistent throughout. The 2019 “La Rocca” pours a bright, deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe, squishy tropical and orchard fruit: pineapple, apricot, yellow flowers, nuts, saffron and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, elegant with a silky texture. This worked wonders with homemade Runza’s. This is a significant step up from the Soave Classico. Drink now through 2034. — 4 months ago
