Pre dinner glass. KP Liked that it was just tart enough. — 8 years ago
Beautiful plummy color. At the brink, a piney almost retsina-like flash, as it opens up to violet and licorice pastille overlaying a deep savoury flinty cap gun/strike anywhere match chemistry. In balance with smooth polished tannins. Scrubby mountain herbaceousness with Iodine minerality finish. Quite luscious. — 9 years ago

Spicy and delicious.... — 10 years ago
Really smooth, blooms in your mouth. Had with duck confit rolls, shrimp tempura, fish tacos and swordfish. Went well with everything. Fonished with banana chocolate bread pudding. Mmmm good! — 7 years ago
¡Feliz día de los muertos!
Time to scare the dead back to the beyond.
A wine from gnarled Vince’s should do the trick.
Smells of gun powder tea.
decanted for 4 hours, and the fruit is lush with dark ripened berries, and heavy handed spices. the burn will not blow off so one must integrate it into the tasting. High octane.
Expensive for a Zin, yet so well crafted, as we know Turley does.
The lingering acids seething with the alcohol burn. Enjoyable still.

Subtle, complex. Ripe melon on the nose. Palate: bosch pear, stone fruit, unripe squash, gun flinty minerality and a touch of oak. — 9 years ago
hay-like greenish colour
lime zest, pear, melon on the nose, followed by juicy red orange, grapefruit, apples on the tongue
tangy, funky, mineral, great to be paired with chicken terrine and light patè — 10 years ago
It’s big on the nose. Not very exciting though. Raspberry. Cherry. — 7 years ago

Big Day, Valentine's and Ash Wed, so had to bring out a big gun. Brought it back from our visit to the winery in 2013, and it's luscious, round and yummy! Getting chocolate, raspberries, cherries and a hint of spice in a wonderful melody mid palate... Just awesome. Glad I have 1 more! — 8 years ago
Good tannins, vanilla blueberry, good with lamb — 9 years ago

Last bottle of six, and is as brilliant today as it was six years ago. Must check out out a recent vintage. — 6 years ago
