This wine was lost in my cellar for a couple of years until I found it a few days ago. As a 2016 I probably would have drunk this a year or two ago. Now at 9 years of age it is a wonderful Chardonnay with more complexity and intensity. More on the citric than stone fruit side. A good example of mature Yarra Valley Chardonnay. β 4 months ago

Purchased wine during visit to the wineryβs tasting room in Los Olivos in 2021. Syrah-based blend sourced from seven cool climate vineyards. 95% Syrah, 4% Grenache and 1% Viognier. Black, blue and red fruits with notes of meat, tobacco, smoke and garrigue. β 8 months ago

Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Very dark Ruby with pronounced aromas of dark fruits, cigar box & earthy notes, touch of floral citrus. Flavors of black cherry & blackberry with tobacco & spice. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with cacao, tobacco & mineral spice as the finish builds. Decant now! Will continue to age! β 4 years ago
Love this blend! Oaky cherry nose, notes of cranberry and cherry. Light peppery notes. A favorite! β 4 years ago
A very nice, cool climate, reductive Chardonnay
Toasted sesame & cool mint on the nose. Beautiful mouthfeel, balanced, elegant with juicy acidity. The yellow stone fruit restrained but of high purity. Nice depth here.
This is so drinkable and quite lovely while showing some hints of seriousness. β 3 months ago
Good fruit, strawberry, touch of lemon, peach and cream (?), good acid but not at all tart, honeydew, citric and malic notes on finish. Dry but not bone dry. Complex but missing savory and mineral notes from previous vintages, oh well, drinkable enough why wish for the moon? β 4 months ago
Decant this bottle for about an hour or two β¦.and Bachman-Turner Overdrive is showing up!! Baby, You Ainβt Seen Nothing Yet. It just suddenly erupts with vibrant spicy red fruit, loaded with shrapnel of sharp, penetrating tannins that blow you to a finish and sticks you with a perfect landing. Wow, what an experience π₯° β 2 years ago

A really good red blend. Rich, fruity Cabernet forward wine with a great finish. β 4 years ago
V17. Pretty good... opaque color. Smokey nose. Substantial black cherry fruit. Black pepper, chocolate and earthy finish. Nicely balanced . β 5 years ago
Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak Iβm going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. β 3 months ago
Traditional Bordeaux-Style blend. Very dark ruby color with slight hints of purple. Savory aromas of earth, baking spices, herbs and black cherries. Ripe plum and black cherry flavors with additional hints of baking spices, tobacco and dried herbs. Pleasant creamy vanilla oak note on the long finish. Dusty tannins and well balanced. Opulent, complex and still quite fresh for a ten year old wine. β 8 months ago
Very nice! Best Can from Washington state Iβve tasted. Smooth heavy mouthfeel but bold fruit taste. Chocolate and red berry tones. β 3 years ago

My last bottle in the cellar but first Delectable note for this vintage. A good balance of quality ripe grapes with the savoury peppery tannins from use of whole bunch in the ferment. β 2 months ago
