Quite rich, concentrated. Coffee flavor. Silky tanning. Smooth. Want to taste it again! @1360, Sergio - BBQ, 190827-191003 — 6 years ago
Very good cab but on the sweeter side. The sweet element resides once this opens up w/ some time — 6 years ago

An great nose, a mixture of white florals and minerals. A tropical perfume, light-bodied, with a good structure and fine, non-abrasive acidity. — 11 years ago

2nd time around the bend with this one. Gorgeous perfumed nose. Roses. Berry fruit and mega cherries. Super earthy and mineral. So expansive. Palate is so suave and juicy with incredibly integrated rustic tannins and just so juicy. Amazing purity. Just terrific wine. So juicy. Gimme some pasta Fageoli! — 4 years ago
Sparkling erbaluce from alto Piemonte. Lovely citrus nose. Tremendous right fruit - such great fruit you’d think it has dosage even thought It doesn’t. Springy minerality. Alive on the palate. Great juiciness. Some nice richness. Wow. Great wine. Bought from fass selections. — 6 years ago
Honeyed, riper golden/copper expression of Erbaluce. Likely representative of this Alto Piemonte DOC, but the bottle age had a big influence on this wine. We've had a neighboring young Erbaluce from Boca (Barbaglia) that was a completely different animal. Still, the acid is there in this 2012, and it balances the tropical notes beautifully. — 7 years ago

Aromatic. Floral. Crisp. Lemon. Soft. — 9 years ago
Great alternative to Chardonnay. A little less of the full@fruit flavour with a spicy finish. — 9 years ago
Really like it. Not acidic almost at all. A little apple juice-y and sweet which is nice. Valentine's day belated celebration. Tom bought it at the sketchy liquor store next to lucky 97. Says 92 points on wine enthusiast. Really simple label that just says Sergio so I took a pic of the back. — 10 years ago
Stunning nose. What a set of wines Silvia has sent me. Nose is like a mash of intense raspberry confit, dark red roses, violets, lavender, some dark berry fruits and even some plum as well. Palate is juicy and also very tannic. Good cherry and berry fruit but fierce tannins so far. But backed up by superb dense, concentrated fruit and just terrific purity and length. Amazing Vespolina. Awesome texture but needs maybe 3-4 years for those tannins to integrate more. Nice and long. Truly a toothsome wine. — 4 years ago
Sublime! At the recommendation of Sergio Mignanelli of Osteria 44 in Rome, we ventured into the land of Valpolicella and were delighted by this fragrant Corvino with hints of luscious dark fruit. — 6 years ago
Young Silvia Barbaglia makes fantastic wines in this tiny Northern Piemonte DOC. Boca is a blend from Nebbiolo and Vespolina. This 2006 has aged beautifully and smells like Nebbiolo dried roses, intertwined with Vespolina violets. Elegant and profound, perfectly balanced and very good length. Wish I had more of this in my cellar. — 6 years ago
Much drier than I expected a wine that looks like maraschino cherries to taste! — 8 years ago
Refreshing grapefruit favors yet dry! Beautiful red color making it quite festive!
