Good from the start. Nice as it opened up as well. $20- at Russo’s — 5 years ago
PnP. Definitely drinking young.
Dark purple color. Nose has modest OH, blackberry, and tar. Dark Chocolate and black cherry on the palate. Deep wine and could have better structure. Finish is medium.
Overall very solid, but not sure it’s as good as the 96pts. Wine Advocate scores it. — 5 years ago
Digging it. The nose draws you in with breakfast country ham and cherry syrup. Honestly, feels like I’m driving up to a Denny’s. However, “old world” notes of forest floor - pine tree bark, dry leaves, and wood chips - develop. Acidity stays relevant, but doesn’t kick your ass. This is why I love Willamette; good fruit, but not boring and extracted. — 6 years ago
Meursault base? Taste like it — 7 years ago
The 2017 ‘Component Collection’ Malbec shows bright violets with blackberry compote and white pepper dusted mocha tones alongside scorched earth that all take shape in the glass. The palate is plush showing a gorgeous sense of richness and complexity. Blueberry cordial and Black Forest Cake flavors march on parade with espresso bean and dark currants on the palate. The length here is really good, as this beautiful and decadent Malbec wine will provide drinking enjoyment for the next fifteen years. Drink 2021-2036- 94 — 3 years ago
Nutty and cedar to the point we almost thought it was corked — 5 years ago
New producer to me. Pretty strong reviews and I can see why. This is not your jammy fruit bomb zin that are super common. Finesse in style but retaining richness in flavor. Reminiscent of Carlisle style zins with higher acidity, lower ABV and encompassing the entire fruit spectrum. Ripe raspberries, blueberries and blackberries accompanied by Mexican vanilla and sandalwood aromatics. Energetic on the palate. Delicious. Thanks for opening, @Jack Thompson . — 5 years ago
Great Pinot noir w very passionate n enjoyable notes. Able to enjoy without anything. Very impressive at first bite. — 6 years ago
A beautifully balanced, intense evocation of South of France Syrah. Though the Delectable header doesn't show it this wine is from Chateau de l'Ou and is technically an IGP Côtes Catalanes. Think Northern Rhône on steroids - less minerality but more fruit - cassis, blackberry, mocha and exceptional depth. Very long finish as well and still a few years to grow. Stunning — 6 years ago
Absolutely delicious, Rich, oxidative notes similar to some Sherry.

Clear purple but not opaque. Petrol, earth and tobacco on the nose. Elegant and smooth with layers of tobacco, boysenberry and led pencil with a long elegant earthy finish. Really elegant. Enjoyed it thoroughly. — 3 years ago
