Nariz con rastro de fruta oscura, algo de "grama" y un toque de alcohol. En la boca "smooth" y a la vez algo tanico todavía. Puede aguantarse un poco mas en la botella. Tiene algo parecido a un toscano. ( Ballester) — 8 years ago
2009 was a ripe vintage for CdP, for sure. Sophie and Catherine couldn't escape the candied cherry yet still manage to convey their sense of place. Bright fruit, fine tannins, dusty sandalwood and vibrant acidity always tell me "this is Marcoux." A pleasure to have this with my wife's pot roast on a cool fall night. — 10 years ago
Con moito corpo e excelente sabor.
Absolutamente recomendable. — 10 years ago
The second bottle at Searsucker in Vegas. I know I get repetitive when I start in on the value and variety of Spanish wines in general and Rioja in particular but..here we go again. All the terms like "leather/deep blackberry/spice/road tar" and on and on don't convey the great nose and immediate depth and appeal of this terrific Rioja. I'd definitely just say that drinking this with hanger steak and grilled vegetables made an already good meal great. Highly recommended by the entire table and they're not nearly as pretentious and snobby as I am. "Oh Thurston..where's that third bottle you ordered?" — 10 years ago
One of the skills I'm coming to respect as a hallmark of really great producers is the ability to convey place and vintage well in their entry level bottlings. Von Winning has that hallmark. — 11 years ago
Beautiful nose, fruity, floral, very expressive. Fresh, crispy, fizzy. Lovely! — 11 years ago
I'm a very happy girl sitting in my "treehouse" enjoying the most mellow of evenings, melting into this silky, soft, smooth operator, which will most certainly tuck me into bed after a 12 hour day. Sweet dreams Tempranillo! — 12 years ago

Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas of red berries and spices convey noteworthy soil complexity. Supple and dry on the palate, with redcurrant and spicy oak flavors leading to a suavely tannic finish. Distinctly saltier than the 2015 version. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2017) — 8 years ago
Same purity and finesse as the Chianti Classico with more earth, spice, and leathery tobacco tones. Love that they can convey such weight out of the Sangioveto without covering the wine with new oak makeup. Superb. — 9 years ago
Me encanto con queso manchego y uvas verdes , buen aroma y poco fuerte , buena lagrima 👍👍🏻🍷👌🏻 — 9 years ago
Sept 12, 2015. Spanish blend from Navarra (Northern Spain). 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% merlot, 20% Tempranillo. 2010 vintage. Mellow blend with a hint of earthiness. Great value. Top Ten $17. — 10 years ago
Juicy but quite dry. Excellent wine, with those almost grapefruit-like and hazelnut hints that Northeastern Italian indigenous whites seem to convey on the finish. — 10 years ago

Прекрасное испанское вино, скрасит холодный зимний вечер. — 10 years ago
On the nose, prune and stewed plum, held together with sweet spice. On the tongue, silky and reserved at first, but opening up to reveal a full palette of blackberry and ripe plum. The finish is medium to long, the tannins and acidity are light, and this wine goes down almost too easily. — 11 years ago
Day one tannins were rough and wine needed a good hour to smooth out. Wine was still tight and didn't show very well. Day two wine still needs time to open. Full bodied, cherry, coffee, earthy palate. Nose is still hot but hint of violets lie under abrasive surface. Wine needs AT LEAST two more years — 12 years ago

(17/20) Красивый, пряный аромат с нотами сливы, душистого перца и лаврового листа. Высокая кислотность и интенсивные танины. Ежевика, чернослив и специи во вкусе. Мощное, интересное вино. #fenavin2017 — 8 years ago

A Rhone blend of 75% Grenache and 25% of Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise and Clairette. Nicolas Renaud made a great job on this complex and extraordinary blend. The estate is organic certified, spontaneous fermentation in Vats. Nicolas uses a minimum amount of Sulfites and the wine is unfined and unfiltered. The color is a semi-intense ruby red, with orange nuances, gave to the fact that is a 2012. The nose is catchy and complex, with red fruits and liquorice bouquet. The palate reminds to the fruity nose, with soft and round tannins, that convey in a warm and lingering finish. Very recommended to all the lovers of Cotes du Rhone blend and not. — 9 years ago
Not a wine of complexity but of drinkability. Big black fruit, blueberry, quite polished with a lick of vanilla. Tending towards a modern of Rioja, but appealing. Black cherry, creamy and mocha/vanilla. Medium bodied, smooth and decent. — 10 years ago
Oro pajizo, sin carbónico, buena potencia fruta de hueso, notas cítricas dulces, mandarina. En boca entrada potente, fresco, acidez y frescura... Buen final que lleva a repetir... — 10 years ago

Very pleasant Red that goes rather nicely with a red meat dish - calm, sublime and strong without being overpowering, but enough to convey the quality of this red — 11 years ago
Tasty and affordable in the new Mencía style. Dark berry and vanilla on the nose, blackberry jam through and through on the palate. Finishes like satin. Great value to pair with red meat off the grill or hearty game. — 12 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
WillaKenzie Estate is located in Oregon's Willamette Valley in the Chehalem Mountains. The winery was named after the Willakenzie soil on which the vineyards are planted to convey the influence that the soil imparts on the wine's flavors and aromas. Ruby red with aromas of red fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with pepper spice. Well balanced with good acidity on lingering finish with a spicy earthy ending. Good value wine from OR. — 7 years ago
