No words for this. So many layers, acid and sucrosité in perfect balance. — 9 years ago
Beautiful acidity, green apple, lime, slight plastic smell on the nose. Complex pallet slightly warm with baked apples, lime candy, nice minerality. — 9 years ago
Lemon, Honey, diesel and mineral. Very concentrated and complex. Somewhat dry with good acidity. Absolutely AMAZING! Best wine I've ever had! — 11 years ago

Last night was the Confrerie St. Etienne Spring dinner. It was my first time attending. This is a chapter of the original group out of Alsace, France, and is the only chapter here in the US...just happens to be in my neck of the woods! Great introduction to Alsace wines.
Kind of surprised at the reviews here for this wine. Maybe people rated the wrong one? This grand cru Riesling was paired with a Chilean sea bass and both were excellent. Not a lot of petrol on the nose, but it checked off most Riesling notes of honeycomb, pear and had that lovely sweet and quick finish on the palate. — 7 years ago

Smells of stone fruit with a soft hint of citrus. Taste of melon, mixed with a bit of sourness of lemons. Really a great combo of stone fruit + like get sourness. Crisp acid to make it an excellent pairing with food. Just a delightful wine to drink. — 6 years ago
