This wine lives up to its name. Big, rich wine. Delightfully compliments and enhances food spices. Enjoyed with roasted duck with pomegranate and Turkish spice glaze. — 2 months ago
Fantastic wine for the price ( under $15). Dry, aromas of lime and peach. Very refreshing. Surprisingly complex for a wine at this price. — 8 months ago
Smooth fruity aroma. Nuts and oak — 4 years ago
A joint venture of Jorge Ordonez, Bodegas Borsao and Chris Ringland, located in the town of Bulbuente (Zaragoza) Spain. Alto Moncayo is the flagship of the winery. A single-grape variety of Garnacha, from vines between 40 and 70 years old, aged in new barrels for 20 months. Bold aromas of fruit and spice. On the palate black fruit flavors, rich and full-bodied, with complex spice. Fine tannins, savory, good structure ending with a smoky character. Very nice! — 5 years ago
A wine from Jorge Ordóñez and his winemaking team. Pale lemon color with crisp stone fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and melon with lemon citrus, consistent offering from La Cana. Medium finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral tang. Nice value. — 3 months ago
