Botani Sierras de Malaga Old Vines Moscatel 2019

Light silvery/gold color. Aromas of white flowers, peach, beeswax and herbal chamomile tea. Pallet is full of peach, lychee, tangerine, green apple, grapefruit and fresh herbs. Touches of minerals and saline on the finish. Waxy texture. Bright with medium plus acidity. Nice complexity. — 17 days ago

2011. Earthy dark fruits and a bite of tannins on the finish. Pretty good pairing with a crusty meatball caprese baguette! — 2 months ago

Bodegas Alto Moncayo

Veraton Garnacha 2018

A joint venture of Jorge Ordonez, Bodegas Borsao and others, in conjunction with Chris Ringland. Dark Ruby with dark berry fruit aromas, from 40+ year old vines and aged for 16 months in oak, 100% garnacha. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum with cacao, spice and smoky notes. Soft tannins, vivid acidity ending with soft oaky spice on a long mineral finish. Wines from Spain are superb and at great values, especially Bodegas Alto Moncayo wines. — 2 months ago
