Iron ruby color, hint of leather on the nose, berry flavors too. Light to medium body. Black berries dominant front palate thru the finish. Soft ripe tannins and black currants. Long finish and a great wine from Syncline! — 7 years ago
Animalic with notes of violet. Presents itself as very mature and elegant with integrated tannins, sweet herbs and a dryish texture. — 8 years ago
Beautiful wine; complex aromas of maraschino cherry, dried fruits, floral, vanilla over sweet tobacco, exotic spice and campari. Fine grained tannin providing lovely shape to see out a long lengthy finish. — 8 years ago

Needs a serious decant to dissipate the VA but worth the wait — 9 years ago
Rasberrry, cranberry, blood orange, rich lees notes, nice acidity. — 6 years ago
Excellent with Indian lunch buffet. Stands up to the heat well. Present residual sugar, but not overly sweet. Plenty of acidity to carry it through. — 6 years ago
Perfect balance for my palate. A bit of earthiness, with hints of spice and fruit. Mild tannins but wonderful — 7 years ago

My absolute favorite Pinot Noir! I may be causing Californians to jump up in arms but for me full bodied Burgundy just doesn't have much appeal. This is an Oregon Pinot that is lighter bodied and fruitful. Perfect for sipping or pairing with food. It is my favorite because of its dual use as a sipper or a food match. Versatile and lovely and time of year. Absolutely my go-to wine for serving to women, they love it...every time it is served....and I usually serve it unannounced and wait for their reaction before revealing the winery or varietal. The 2014 is highly, highly recommended if you can still find it.. — 8 years ago
