Rich and creamy but not cloying in any way, definite ageing potential, and lovely length — 5 years ago

We bought this wine when we visited the winery in Sancerre. Beautiful dessert wine. Late harvest Sauvignon Blanc from a cool climate. Fresh flowers with a chalky note on the nose. Inviting golden honey notes, but sweetness is restrained compared to a Sauternes. Golden raisin, vein of minerality, with great balance. — 6 years ago
Very fine value from Montille’s “Maison” negociant label that reflects the Domaine’s elegant style. A richer profile for Saint Romain that shows a certain vintage character. Great freshness, fine-tuned texture and bright acidity. Rounded mid palate that is well-framed by salinity. White flowers provide a measure of lift and nuance. Very fine and versatile young Burgundy at this price point. — 7 years ago
Feels like a good year for this wine to be so good. — 8 years ago
Think I need to pay a visit to Boirgogne...yum — 8 years ago
A nice Chardonnay that we paired with a Saint Nectaire cheese. The wine is full bodied with notes of lemon zest, going very well this creamy French cheese that my brother brought back to share. @Delectable Wine this is the Savigny-Les-Beaune thanks! — 4 years ago

Medium–light bodied, Pinot fruit, tea, cranberry, touch of leather, mineral & saline with good acid. Alan’s present from Rachel. — 7 years ago
Kiwi fruit and flint. Really pretty wine. Thanks Paul! — 8 years ago
Definitely reduced. Some roundness (oak) too? Under the sulfury nose there's a bit of green apple. — 9 years ago
Another forgotten 10 bottles, luckily of a very good year. The wine is old but still very nice in color, vibrant, wet leaves, cranberry. Drink now. — 4 years ago
Perfectly open and great length — 6 years ago
Needs a lot of air, but once it opens, it reveals a wine with so much grace. Tart red cherries, under ripe strawberries, green stems, and lots of acidity. — 7 years ago
Vintage 2003 - 15 y old #pinotnoir that is very alive and kicking, with a smell of red fruit and stable. #sancerre from a rich year! Refined. Partnered with braised calf cheek. -At Meesters in wijn Maastricht — 7 years ago

Nice premier cru from St Aubin with just over 10 years age. Was honestly hoping for a bit more overall but this was an excellent pairing with some blackened sea bass. Not okay at all, definite green minerality characteristic that is hard for me to describe. Medium minus acid and the finish isn’t quite all encompassing. But still a nice wine. — 3 years ago
