Baked pear and hazelnut. Honey and lean acidity on the finish. Wonderful with cheese plate and flatbread snacks. Yay Tasmania -- neat expression of cool climate PG. — 6 years ago
No risk-taking tonight.
Starts with forest floor and red berry nose. Some licorice--but I always say that, and greenery/pine. Running a little hot, she's still young and needs to mature, a little. Low acidity, medium purple color, medium plus body, medium tannins. Super solid, not sensational.

Yum, spice, dark black berries, lots of tannins — 8 years ago
Dark garnet color, full body. Nose has spice, mineral, pipe tobacco, soft vanilla with some black fruit to round it out. High acid and grippy tannins with primary flavors of unripe black fruit, green peppers and some minerality. Awesome. — 9 years ago

A great Pinot Grigio! Very light but pleasing nose of pineapple and vanilla. Taste with a good balance of acidity and citrus fruit and apples. — 7 years ago
Nice wine even though the grapes are from CA. — 8 years ago
A softened ruby color. Beautiful balance, everything in harmony. Wet earth, raspberry, cinnamon, a whiff of truffle, intoxicating nose. So much ripe, fresh red fruit on the palate. Such soft tannins, damson plum, a mineral streak running through. Drinking a 15 year old wine for 15th anniversary of diabetes. This is splendid in the moment — 8 years ago
A bit sweet but very drinkable. — 8 years ago
Oh yes, Margaret River at its best, big style but structure and complex palate, nutty nose, so moorish, — 9 years ago
