Amarone della Valpolicella 2017

Blend of Corvinone, Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of cherries, cocoa powder, leather, forest floor and dried rose petals. Interesting flavors of dried red and black cherry fruit, cola, bacon fat and tobacco. A bit of a smoky note on the medium-plus/very smooth finish. Syrupy, complex and rich. Quite dark for a Rosati with the colour being mid crimson. Probably the richest Rose we have had on the Italian trip - a popular style over here. Light cherry with a grapefruit twist on the palate. Big enough to exhibit fine grained tannins. Very satisfying. — 8 years ago

Ho provato tanti #rosé pugliesi negli ultimi due mesi, ma questo li batte tutti! Ve lo consiglio. Al naso è molto fruttato (ribes e lamponi, come piacciono a me i rosati) è in bocca ha una bella acidità e un finale molto lungo di frutta rossa. Sulla bottiglia lo consigliano abbinato al #sushi , al #risotto e i piatti a base di #pesce. Io l'ho abbinato ad un #hamburger di #pollo e ha fatto il suo dovere egregiamente! Lo comprerò di nuovo.
