Cheaper version of Rombauer. Nice bitter taste if you like that. — 5 years ago
Maybe not quite as good as Rombauer, but still quite good. — 5 years ago
Not as buttery as Rombauer which let’s the fruit shine. Very nice! — 8 years ago
Smooooth.... dark, black fruit, cassis and tobacco. silky tannins to finish — 8 years ago
Very nice. Some sweetness comes through. — 9 years ago
Pinkish Italian wine, very well developed. Reminds me of a rombauer or earthquake zin. Solid. Only drink if you want something deep, rich, and complex. Pairs very well with green grapes and crackers, but not a dry aged steak or seafood. Not a heavy drinking wine.

This wine was quite tart — granny smith apple. But the intensity of flavor was remarkable. Afterwards Rombauer tasted subdued by comparison, albeit much oakier. Very little oak, if any, that I could detect on this one. — 4 years ago
Very good full bodied like rombauer but more expensive — 5 years ago
First, the bottle is awesomely bold. Very complex, kinda like Rombauer. — 6 years ago
Light, slightly sweet, only a little dry. A good carneros, but not Rombauer. — 8 years ago
Great wine with a great meal — 8 years ago
Notes of honeysuckle, apricot and clover on the nose. Viscous and velvet finish, like an amazing liquid honey. — 5 years ago
Fantastic Zin! Decanted for about an hour and opened up beautifully. Very smooth medium bodied wine with soft tannins and long finish. Paired with stuffed shells and a sausage meat sauce. Amazing combo!! — 5 years ago
Like rombauer but better — 8 years ago
Nice Azim with fruit forward flavors but not much spice. — 8 years ago
