First time with this grape. It initially tastes a bit brawny with dark fruits, but then has a really nice herbal component that ends with smooth tannins. Great with our dinner. — 3 years ago

Earthy minerals and apricot. Lemon curd in the finish. A hint of marzipan. Lovely wine, one of the best Italian white I had actually. Love the artwork. — 7 years ago

A deeper, more resinous & leathery expression of a Langhe Nebbiolo, doing the best imitation of Barolo I’ve ever had. Reminds a bit of Vallanas with some age, given the more rusty, mineral core. Plenty of rose hips, orange pith, etc. Given the2+ years in old oak, plus another in bottle, a ridiculous level of wine & quite the revelation for under 20$. — 8 months ago

Nose of flinty wet rocks and white pears. Green apples and pairs with a saline component on the pallet. Deep color and texture. Fermented on the lees? — 8 years ago
Absolutely delicious. A little bit of everything. I would hoard this wine if I could. — 2 years ago
Peach fuzz, pineapple, and sea spray. Zippy acid with excellent mid palate weight. Orchard fruits with a pleasantly soapy minerality to finish. Good stuff! Thanks @Ryan Maxwell — 4 years ago
Not sure if I've been here before.... This has potential, but needs time... At least.
Flint, ash, rose, white pepper, and only a hint of strawberry on the nose.
More red fruit on the palate, including strawberry and red cherry. Sour red cherry. Tannins are very nice at medium plus. Alcohol at medium plus. Acidity is medium. This can certainly be expected to improve with ageing, but I'm concerned that the fruit is not still dominant at only two years in.
