Interesting red from Emilio Bulfon. For those not familiar with this winery, his goal is to rescue old, nearly extinct Italian grape varietals and bring them back. Most of these grapes were common in Roman times, I believe, so these are pretty cool wines, geekily speaking. This one is pretty rich, but not quite as complete as the picolit neri riserva, which I think is his best. — 9 years ago
