Dinner 3/9/18 Lisa W Josh Karen at SRV. good food wine with acids and balanced fruit with interesting somewhat earthy notes. Reasonable value there at $60. — 6 years ago
Minimalist label. Dark, tannic, with incredibly pure red and black fruits, and very Italian. — 7 years ago
Exceptional bouquet; Re Fosco dal Peduncolo Rosso - 14% absolutely delicious 2007 vintage - fantastic choice in Udine. ReFosco is a top Italian choice, with a huge potential. — 7 years ago
valentine's day wine no. 1, nice but unspectacular — 7 years ago
Strawberry abs raspberry with a little grapefruit on the finish- unusual. Little kiwi ( brand- not the fruit) shoe polish on the nose. Free association! — 8 years ago

Yummy bottle. Deliciously soft texture with an unmistakable spiciness on the back of the palate. Ripe fruit, black pepper, slightly herbaceous. Stunning bottle...great way to end a Monday! — 6 years ago
Not sure why others are so down on this wine - admittedly it's not showy, but very pleasant and friendly, light bodied. — 7 years ago
Very similar to a Slovenia wine we had. (Same grapes) fruity with a touch of funk. — 7 years ago
Extraordinary balance, velvety and deep, beautiful. — 8 years ago

Let this one air out for a while- I was drinking mine on day 3 and it was great. Dark plum, medium + staining, medium+ viscosity on the eye. Nose sees stewed, ripe black cherries, balsamic, maybe some tobacco. Palette sees sweet cherries, medium+ acid, good deal of tannins. This wine has some heft- both in terms of mouthfeel and tannins. The finish is medium+ with medium complexity. I really enjoyed this wine- reminded me of a mix between Docetto and Chianti- interesting enough to drink solo and the extra heft is welcome. — 6 years ago
