Such great value! While I feel doesn't have the Bereche typicity, it's so elegant and poised. Fruiter, more powerful, less mineral, but bolstered by racy acidity.

I think Vinous nails my tasting notes, so I'm just gonna leave that here:

"The 2008 Côte Premier Cru, a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from Vertus, is striking. Translucent and expressive, the 2008 captures a gorgeous, crystalline expression of Vertus Chardonnay, with a little added body and texture from the Pinot. Sweet floral and honeyed notes wrap around the expressive, precise finish. There is a lot to like here. Dosage is 6 grams/liter." — 7 years ago
