Good mineral. Citrus. Stone fruit. Flinty — 6 years ago
This is a beautifully polished single-vineyard Washington wine. It is extremely big and polished, with lots of bright red ripe currant and plum fruits, a silky mouthfeel, and very restrained on the oak. This wine will impress your friends. — 6 years ago
An amazing and very particular sweet wine. Very well balanced. — 8 years ago

Getting better every year, really hits it's stride on the second day open — 10 years ago
It is mind blowing how chenin Blanc has the potential to produce such long lasting fresh wines. Full bodied, apricot which is mouth filling and unctuous yet does not overpower you and stays fresh making you go for the next glass. Magnificent bottle from “den Eddy”. — 5 years ago
Not very intense, but quite rich: cereals, cocoa, red fruits (blackberries, cherry) — 6 years ago
Luxurious #margaux #bordeaux, mushroom, forest floor, violet on the nose. Reserved elegant dark fruit, some cocoa, lovely acidity for the backbone and fine well-integrated tannins. A little tight as it wasn’t decanted as long as it should have been due to eager drinkers. I can see this could age easily another 5- 10 years, but what a treat for friends over on Saturday night. — 7 years ago
Had wine tasting. 2y in oak on dead yeast. Liked it — 8 years ago
21 March 2017. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 9 years ago
Light gold color with plenty of active tiny bubbles with yeast, ginger, raspberry, citrus, white flower, chalk aromas with a nuanced oxidation. On the palate, it's full bodied, and fresh with a delicate creamy mousse and raspberry, orchard fruit, and tangerine flavors with a chalky minerality and a long finish. — 9 years ago

Some complexity and elegance even inside the bottle (not only the bottle itself) — 10 years ago
Huge nose. Huge aromas. Green apple, spice, white alpine fields of flowers. Also fresh tilled dirt. Like the freshest. Huge earnest and vocal aromatic minerality reminds me of Chenin Muscadet. Like Coteaux de Loir or Jasnieres. So layered and complex. Really just ethereal and so distinct. This is one of the longest aging Altesse out there. Wow, so elegant and pure with just searing mineral force. Juicy and so balanced with unreal acidity and depth. This is not for everyone in that it has a severity/austerity not meant for every drinker but all my geeks will adore this. So luscious. It’s the liquid equivalent of a long, meandering Tarkovsky film like Stalker or Nostalgia. Love it. — 5 years ago
Love at first sight for this Chiroubles which represents the quintessence of Gamay Beaujolais. young, fresh, frank, light, generous, good acidity. a best seller without a doubt! I highly recommend this wine. to drink at 12-13 degrees dehydrated 1-2 hours. — 6 years ago
08’ Was a very good vintage. It holds up to the 05 & 02.
The nose is somewhat restrained. Don’t let that fool you. The palate, lushness(when it warms up)with apples, intense mineral core. Great structure & balance. The rather high acidity & fruit play nicely together.
Has another 5+ years in it. — 7 years ago
