This excellent Chardonnay is made with organic grapes and aged in stainless steel barrels. — 6 years ago
Part of a night of Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello and Ghemme (Sangiovese and Nebbiolo). Highlight of the night. Nice structure. Good brick red color but still somewhat translucent. Dark fruits, with some red cherry as well. Long finish. Served with southern fried quail, collard greens, lime beans with bacon, and gravy. — 7 years ago

We bought this 2012 in the tasting room in Willamette Valley on our honeymoon in August 2013. Glad we waited a few years on this one! Very bright honey suckle and maybe papaya (tasting notes) on the nose. Vanilla and buttery oak on the tongue, but nicely balanced by lemony acidity. Great wine! — 6 years ago
Had this with a nice creamy cheese and fruit/nut crackers (slightly sweet) and it was all delicious. — 7 years ago

Underrated gem — 10 years ago
Had the 2018 vintage, which is young but outstanding. Can’t wait to try it in another year or two. It’s a little sweeter than the Susanna, but amazingly mellow. This wine only gets produced about once every 2-3 years. — 6 years ago
Nice full body bordeaux. Very smooth finish. Nice with pork and quail. Apolline NOLA 58 — 7 years ago
Suberb balance and acidity, the bouquet unfolds beautifully with more air. Excellent pairing with quail. — 8 years ago
Nice and light but good bodied flavor, nice legs! — 8 years ago
Pretty light gold color, medium viscosity. Lots of fresh, new, toasty oak on the nose, citrus, green grapes, some green grass/hay. Palette sees more oak, citrus, apricots, white flowers, medium+ acid, healthy alcohol, but not high octane like many French Viognier. I enjoyed this- I preferred this colder, medium complexity Viognier compared to many of the burning French versions. — 9 years ago
Drank it a tad too early. 2017-2021 recommended window. Even better (in potential) than Susannah's. — 10 years ago

1/2021. Nice full bodied Rhône wine. Dark purple and feels good on the palate. Paired well with the stuffed quail at Gervais and Vine. — 5 years ago
