A smooth, full bodied, and easy to drink. It has that surprising punch of a whisky but not offensive or aggressive as a whisky. — 6 years ago
Isn’t quite as full-bodied as I had expected. Decent wine. Just doesn’t quite pack the punch I was after. — 6 years ago
I'm so impressed by the complexity in this for such a young wine. How often do you hear CA syrahs being compared to N. Rhone? Way too much right? Well, how many CA syrahs out there are cold climate, coming in at 12.0%, and bringing the funk? This starts interesting with a soft fruit nod and then ends with an earthy funk punch. Could potentially be a dead ringer for a fine St. Joseph with another 7-8 years. — 7 years ago
Too too young. Packs a "fruit punch" — 7 years ago
Killer fruit, Hawiian Punch... easy to guzzle, but something to contemplate. — 6 years ago
Very agreeable. Packs a punch but soft on the palette and goes with different dishes. A little tannin but not too much. Inky. — 6 years ago
The $50 mystery case train rolls on. Best Hundy we ever spent on wine. I paid <$5 for this wine and can’t find it online for less than $52. Committed to not looking these wines up before popping the cork. Merlot dominant, whole cluster in Demi’s that are turned every 4 hours for 6 months in lieu of punch downs or pump overs. Good stuff. — 6 years ago
Love love love. This is a wonderful, easy drinking, no food necessary wine. Super juicy, like fruit punch. Subtle funk to it. Not tannic, medium acid. Great price point. — 7 years ago
2016 - Color - light garnet --- Nose - orange peel, strawberry, lemon blossom, cherry punch, bubble gum --- mid pallet- touch of noticeable RS, very cherry --- Finish - nice balance of tannins and acidity. Long cherry finish. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, smoooooth medium body Brunello with lots of flavour with no big punch in the mouth and no alcohol burn. Well done :-) — 7 years ago
Gorgeous fruity gamay that packs a punch above its weight, smooth and hedonistic. — 5 years ago
I would love to retaste these Charles Perez Bergerie wines. They pack a serious punch of blood, bacon fat, olive, and red fruit. — 6 years ago
I have always been a huge fan of the wines produced by Charles Smith and K Vintners and this just adds fuel to the fire. Ripe blueberry, smoked meat, dark cocoa, cinnamon, tobacco just punch you in the face. Such a bold wine, very northern Rhône in style. So damn good. — 6 years ago
Tropical punch in paradise 🏝 — 6 years ago
Low alcohol, peppery, funky, fruit punch. Wicked good with a proper chill. — 7 years ago

This is my first taste if 19 Crimes, The Uprising, and overall I think it’s great! Definitely packs a punch at 15% alc. by volume, so I would recommend a small glass! True to the description on the label, it is very jammy, and a powerful finish, although i would disagree with the “smokey” part of their description. Could be just my tastebuds, but I didn’t necessarily taste rum or experience a hint of rum influence. Even so, it is very good! — 5 years ago
