A nose almost like a stout, saturated with vanilla and chocolate and just a touch of ripe blackberry fruit. The palate is still a little blousy and flabby, with huge sweet fruit and mounds of residual sugar meeting the usual suspects of tobacco and tar on the terroir side of things.
