Committed to trying more old world wines this year and this is a tasty number to kick that off! Easy drinker, very subtle cherry, not fruity. Definite acid and citrus, light tannins, would go great with red sauce as well as heartier fish. Appealing ruby color. Opened up with some air-time/decanting for sure and would likewise benefit from some cellar time. But a very good vibe even at this young age. — 7 years ago
This one had good bones but the slightest hint of vinegar on both the nose and palate - and the telltale orange rim in the glass. Drinkable but maybe just OTH and couldn’t measure up to the previous reds — 4 months ago

Recommended by Luca like the other 3 wines the last 3 dinner evenings.
For me, this is the best joice out of the 3 with the first the least.
Full body, nice deep red, not harsh and too rhubarb.
Very smooth taste of chocolate and berries with some ending of leathery.
Excellent !

A nose of roses, tobacco leafs,star anise, liquorice, some red fruit too and we find these expressive aromas and flavors on the well balanced palate as well, the tannins have a nice texture, some grip but with some silk also, and a very “Nebbiolo like” finish with a slight touch of dryness. Not the most complex and a wine to enjoy with a meal. 91 pts
Nez de roses, tabac, réglisse noire, anis étoilée, du fruit rouge qui se retrouve en bouche aussi, belle acidité avec des tannins assez polis mais une finale très Nebbiolo avec une pointe d’assèchement un peu “noble”. Decent red, a little tart or acidic on thr back end. Perhaps more time to breath is needed. Nice light color, almost translucent. Seems to be young, fruity in flavor. Dont recall where I picked this up. Enjoyed with pasta and a homemade sauce. I would pick this up again. — 4 months ago
