Palate is ripe with terrific acidity out of the gates and lovely balance. Intense structure. A bit out of sorts out of the bottle but it is all there. Will be fun to track. — 10 years ago

Will improve with age but is delicious now. Somewhat grippy tannins but balanced worth acidity, alcohol, ripe plummy fruit, and delicious toasty vanilla and buttery notes making it a round, dense, and delightful wine I would buy confidently again. — 9 years ago

Generally regarded as one of Australia's better Pinot Noirs on the basis of its perfumed nose and plummy medium bodied palate with lovely silky tannins. Could identify with @Ira Schwartz note recently of aromas of boot polish. I used to say varnish but I think we are on the same page. Great Pinot. — 9 years ago
