Recently I have had some poor sparkling wines so it was a treat to have an excellent one at a reasonable price. This Champagne has a pear and toast nose and tastes of pear, apple, and brioche. A good value. Mostly 2017 vintage in this November 2022 disgorgement. — 10 months ago

Light yellow in color.
Strong nose of apples, yeast, spices, bread, minerals and sea salt.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, and medium plus sized bubbles.
Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, yeast, vegetables, spices and bitter herbs.
Nice finish with limes and almonds.
This 13 year old Vintage Champagne feels young and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly.
Rich and extracted with lots of bread notes. Elegant and robust.
Showing nice complexity, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Paired beautifully with fresh oysters.
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Disgorged in 2020.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Exceeded my expectations. Dosage felt high but it was a nice Champagne to open with Family on thanksgiving. — 3 years ago
Excellent. Crisp, dry, flavorful. — 5 years ago
An extraordinary bottle that is a near-perfect blanc de blancs. Medium gold in color, the wine has a beautiful mousse even at 25 years of age, with fine bubbles and a tantalizing aroma conveying powerful primary, secondary and tertiary notes. The nose shows fresh and preserved lemon, green and golden apple, acacia, hawthorn, hazelnut, wet stone and flint. On the palate, the wine is dry but has a wonderful medium-bodied richness. There is vibrant, high acidity that gives the wine great energy. Flavors include smoke, flint, wet stone, preserved lemon, green apple, golden apple, dried acacia, hazelnut, and a hint of roasted coffee along with a pleasant saline quality. The wine has a very long finish and is compelling to drink now though it can certainly age for another decade or more. Outstanding. — 6 years ago
Pale gold in color; yellow apples, almonds, and cream on the nose; high acidity; tastes like lemon, chamomile, and wet gravel with a medium finish. Still not convinced I'm a champagne person, but I get the appeal. Nellie likes it. — 6 months ago
Great fruit even at this age. The only issue I had besides the slight bell pepper is how rough the tannins were and the coconut on the nose. American oak? Not something i’d think Roy would use. — 9 months ago
Very pleasant! Touch of sweetness, nice bubbles. Went very well with USA white sturgeon (malosol) — a year ago
Lovely texture and combination of sweetness and bite. Oh so light but long. Nice layer of stone fruit. — 2 years ago

Perfectly aged. I love champagnes that get into the 2nd maturation phase with integrated tertiary aromas and caramel flavor notes. This is just at the right spot right now - if you have the 1990, drink now :) — 5 months ago
