Dave DelDotto is the king of the infomercial but that fame will pass as his wines are discovered. Big, Bold and Balanced. Red fruit with minerality that adds to a very complex wine with years a head of it. Has 3 wineries that are a must visit π·π·π·π· β 5 years ago

Loved this! Complex and beautiful blend. β 7 years ago
GW tasting 9/28/16. Nose that's got fruit more between red and black and hints of stones. Very nice and fragrant. A hint of the cab franc pepper. On palate rather elegant and lively. Medium finish with a bit of peppery notes. Freshness is hallmark. Tannins very soft. Terroir unique. Soil red clay and limestone and a bit sand. Same limestone as St Emilion. 30-60cm bellows red clay. Very shallow. Never seen chemicals. β 8 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
A beautiful Chardonnay! Only 15 acres planted with grapes grown in Rutherford (warmer with rich ripe fruit) & Oak Knoll (cooler with fresh acidity in grapes). Pale lemon, with fresh & crisp citrus & stone fruit aromas, no malolactic ferm. Palate shows peach, apple & Asian pear flavors, with lemony & toasty notes, lively acidity & balance with touch of vanilla oak (9 months of French oak aging (25% new & 1-year old, remainder neutral oak). Long finish ending with fruit, spice & biscuit notes. Nice Value! β 4 years ago
