Nice, easy drinking Barbera. Delicious fruity nose. Smooth tannins and great acidity — 6 years ago
Don't really get the Burgundy/Pinot Noir comparisons people are making with Nerello. For me it's a lot for Nebbiolo-like, albeit more approachable. Sour cherries, rose petal, dried herb. A bit on the simple side, but an interesting wine. — 7 years ago
Funky and delicious with pork pasta. — 2 years ago

Benedetta knows how to make a great wine. This comes from a tiny family owned estate on the east side of the hill in Montalcino. Benedetta's father worked these vines for years before he saved up to buy them. They only make 13,000 bottles / year I believe. Think of their Super Tuscan starter /first course wine, the Rossi as the brother, and their Brunello as the "dad". Buy this bottle. — 7 years ago
Altijd kopen als het kan. Prachtig robijn rood, zwaar maar trekt je mond niet scheef door de tannines. — 2 years ago
Explosion of flavor, dark, spicy - get balanced. — 4 years ago
Schioppettino. Rustic, earthy funkiness. Blackberries, citrus pith, white pepper, brambles. Apparently rare in the US, from Fermented Grapes. — 4 years ago
