Dec 11, 2021 Saturday dinner w/ Jack D celebrating J2’s good news. This champagne was such a lovely surprise. Bright, crisp, citrus. Lots of complexity, and lots of fine bubbles. Good with food or alone. Wish I had more. First bottle purchase. — 4 years ago

Beautiful wine - not overly heavy, but packed a punch — 7 years ago
Light like a feather. Quite stinky on the nose. Drink now! 13.5%. Brown tinge. Touch oxidized. Subdued cherry, orange zest. Very fine grained tannins. A touch more fruit would be nice. At this point tastes like an old Burgh. Definitely drink up this will not further improve. Was fun with black cod prepared a la Nobu. Would i buy this again (No). This is in the end not one the producers in Burgundy which i would recommend (based on multiple bottles including GC’s over time). — 7 months ago
Delicious. Happy 248th birthday America & all Delectable users.
Nice, soft mousse, slightly rich, gentle co2, green apple, lemon meringue, lime zest, tropical melons, both white stone fruits, kiwi, underripe pineapple juice, vanillin, some minty & dry herbs notes, semi-moist chalk power, alluvial limestone, sea spray, soft white spice, bread dough, light yeastiness, yellow florals & lilies, jasmine with fairly heavy greens, nice, round, soft acidity and a well balanced, structured, tensioned and smartly polished finish that last ninety seconds.

Delightful find, nice red for the warm summer months — 4 years ago
Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir. — 5 years ago
Solid. No fireworks but fine stuff. — 6 years ago

Deep nose of preserved and candied lemons with bread dough and toasted baguette. Chalky minerality and lively fine mousse. Crushed rocks, lemon peel, mint, white flowers, pear and tangerine oil all take shape. — 7 months ago
