This wine is absolutely gorgeous! Give it a 30 min rest in the glass. Bright ripe fruit nose. Silky mouthfeel, the perfectly ripe black and blue fruit comes forth, followed by intense minerality, soft yet grippy tannins leaving a slightly chalky mouthfeel. So elegant, such finesse. Graphite, black licorice, blueberry pie, baking spices, hint of mocha. Superb medium-long finish. It’s this experience that makes Dr Crane one of my favorite vineyards. 2015 for dinner with grilled NY Steaks salt a pepper finish. Fruit on the wine complemented the fat full flavor of the beef but the harmonious touch of dried herbs and an earthiness of mouth feel came together. In a really big sensation of married flavors to hand you the real deal. Beautiful Cabernet. Great wine and flavor combination to remember. Excellent. Зашёл 17.10.19 поужинать в гордом одиночестве в Бо Бо. Решил выпить бокал каберне совиньона 2015 года. Crane lake - не знал раньше такого производителя. Калифорния как всегда удивляет. Это что- то божественное. Очень нежное , мягкое, великолепное послевкусие. Никакой горечи, терпкости, сухости во рту. Напоминает южноафриканский Garland 2010 года. A decent Cab Sauv from the Estate Salvestrin specifically out of the Dr. Crane Vinyard in St. Helena, Napa. It’s composed of 83% Cab Sauv, 10% Merlot, and 7% Cab Sauv. It’s deep and intense of baked dark cherry on the nose, great texture on the palate and pretty silky mouthfeel. Tannins are structured and smooth. Great overall.
