Brilliant mother of pearl and onion skin color. Beautiful and subtle red fruit aromas linger under an overlay of brioche with a light spread of lemon curd. This is luscious in the mouth - elegant and lasting, a perfect rosé — 10 years ago
Ontario meets Loire; blend of Pinot Noir / Cabernet Franc 50/50. Exactly as it should be. Fresh, alive. Wine program BTG (if I had one :) — 11 years ago
Lots of ripe peach, nectarine, a slight salinity that's very pleasant. Would go well with something spicy. — 11 years ago
Brilliant wine! Perfect balance of weight, texture and acidity. Great with the Sweetbread dish at Pearl & Ash! — 12 years ago
Smell of red raspberries and pepper. Light oak smell and taste. Very smooth and full bodied. Always a favorite and a long finish. — 13 years ago
This is simply a very fine expression of the grape, can't never get enough of this pearl😘 — 10 years ago
What a beautiful wine to share with wonderful people!!!
One of a kind, bold, yet well rounded, very fruit forward(cranberry!!Yum!!), very well balanced with medium tannins and medium acid. Pairs well with steak and spicy foods. Vintage 2012 you can find the wine at Pearl Wine Co. @Leora Pearl Madden — 10 years ago
A beautiful red with lots of flavor, oak and medium tannins. Had at Pearl & Ash NYC. — 12 years ago
Nice rich flavor - we were introduced to this type of wine at the Pearl wine tasting. We bought this at Trader Joe's — 12 years ago
Dark cherry and raspberry with hints of blueberry and vanilla. Very smooth finish with a nice balance of acidity. — 10 years ago
1964: Fountain of youth. Brackish yet inviting nose. In the middle palate a pearl of sweet fruit. Had to pace myself to not drink as fast as my hand was drawn toward it. Grip on the finish, what else could you want? — 10 years ago
This wine is such a treat. The 2012 is 100% Chardonnay. While it's not a full Vin Jaune, it still holds some beautiful characteristics of the Jura region. Fresh citrus fruit, hazelnut and saltiness with a delightful lick of minerality. We had this wine on recommendation at Pearl and Ash in NYC and it did not disappoint. Natural and biodynamic wine, just grapes and wild yeast. Yum. — 10 years ago
Wow. I knew this wasn't a 'typical' riesling but this is great. The nose is subtle sweet reminiscent of cider, and almost earthy. On the palate there is an underlying sweetness with an almost chardonnay top note. It has a fresh acidity with some lemon lime/citrus notes. As it opened up (was too cold at the outset) the dry riesling emerged as well as notes of pear and green apples. The nose had more sweetness too once warmed. — 11 years ago

Great effort from the iconic Greek winery Gerovassiliou. Made of three indigenous varieties Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano this is a little pearl. Reminds a bit Nebbiolo or montepulciano of highest level. tannins showed some firmness but it had a good complexity and remarkable balance. Loved it — 11 years ago

Tight, but loads of underlying lemon/lime peel, pink grapefruit and white flowers. It will be a real treat in a few years — 10 years ago
