Honeysuckle. White flower. Citrus notes. Nicely made. — 4 years ago
Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir. — 5 years ago
Light, floral, very slight effervescence on first sip. Will buy again — 6 years ago

Delicious. About $25 from Liner & Elsen — 3 years ago
Very dry with a strong finish. We had it with a medium rare leg of lamb and it paired perfectly. Ours was a 2019 vintage. Took a few minutes to open. Will enjoy again in the near future. — 4 years ago
A beautiful expression of fruit that exudes minerality and purity. Pears and clean gravel on the palette; the single best “Chardonnay” my wife has tasted!! — 6 years ago
Apparemment c'est du chardonnay... Pas du gamay. — 7 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 1er Chalumaux pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart orchard and tropical fruit: yellow apple, white peach, orange Cuties®️, pineapple, starfruit, lemon curd, white flowers, slivered almonds, and river rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and laden with minerals. Lovely balance. Classic. Drink now through 2043. — 7 months ago
