Condrieu. 2018 vintage. Viognier partly fermented and aged in egg-shaped cement vats.Flowers and exotic fruit (ripe pineapple, passion fruit). Rich ripe fruit with very good acidity and the typical Condrieu bitter structure. Long finish with retronasal exotic fruit, almonds and an intriguing minerality. A great effort and another winner from Jaboulet. — 3 years ago
This producer has been batting 1000 recently. Nose is beautiful butterscotch and birthday cake. Plus paw paw and orange creamsicle, palate has fabulous acid and some nice minerals, also very long. Quite honeyed but with a wonderful phenolic bite, lingers unbelievably long. Great right out of the gate. — 4 years ago
Have not opened a bottle of Parallel 45 in some time. This 2018 cotes de Rhone opened July 2021 and allowed to breath. The aroma is intense black cherry with dark chocolate. The taste replicates this and has mild to moderate tannins. It remains a great choice for meats like lamb or ribs. I will keep it in stock. — 4 years ago

2015 vintage. Côte Blonde. Still very young, with impressive purity and mineralty. This is more about finesse than sheer power. Showing even better the next day. — 3 years ago
2020 vintage. Everything is great these days at Jaboulet (négoce wines and estate wines alike) and this Côte Rôtie is no exception. "Les Jumelles" (French for " twins" ) is a blend of Côte Blonde and Côte Brune. It is a terrific effort in a vintage that maintained impressive freshness in a very hot year. A beautiful nose with red and black fruits and flowers. It has depth and elegance, refined tannins and great length. Abv.14%. — 3 years ago

Pale gold in color- this is 100% Marsanne and not a blend. Aromas are fresh bread dough, chamomile and white peach. This has a slightly oily texture and is very well balanced. — 5 years ago
2012 vintage. Old vine Syrah ( 60+ years) on granite soils on very steep slopes. Much more intense and mineral compared to the 2012 Thalabert tasted alongside ( as reflected in the higher price tag). Profound, intense and long, this could be mistaken for Hermitage. A terrific wine from a vintage that remained under the radar Abv. 13,5%. — 3 years ago
Earthy with notes of herbs and stone. — 4 years ago
Sadly this bottle was cooked but hinted at what it could have been. — 4 years ago
