Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of black cherry/raspberry/plum and violets. Same dark fruits on the palate with hints of blueberry, pomegranate, dark chocolate and baking spices. Extremely long finish and nicely integrated oak. Fully extracted, dense and concentrated but not overly fruit forward. Full bodied with well balanced acidity and alcohol. Soft tannins. Light golden color. Aromas of white flowers, fresh herbs, wet stones and a faint amount of citrus fruit. Green melon, lychee, and those fresh herbs fill the palate. Minerals pleasantly dominate the finish. Creamy texture and lively acidity. So fresh! Outstanding QPR! Reminded me more of a high elevation crisp white from France or Italy. Wonderful surprise!
