Reggie is no nickname and no caricature either. He’s a stern faced cool Oregan Pinot with a splash of Pinot Gris for some lift.
Freshly stripped cedar and oils of minty wintergreen and peppercorn. Crushed raspberries and macerated strawberries growing wild in the thick of a dark forest. — 5 years ago
Silly label but some kinda interesting GSM blend for the $20 price tag. 2017 Oregon — 5 years ago
A delicious Zin. Neither too spicy or sweet. A great balance. — 5 years ago
Second bottle of this in as many weeks. This one was quite different than the first. Definitely a lot of VA in this one. Strong acetone smell for about the first 15 minutes but most of it eventually blew off. Less fruit-forward than the last bottle. — 6 years ago

Lots of acid and funk at first but totally changed with a few mins in the glass. Really interesting creamy notes, maybe some melon. Weird but fun :) — 5 years ago
I always love this rose. Not to sweet, just a touch of savoriness. — 5 years ago

This reserve release of the always superlative Pilot Hill Gang Cabernet Blend is labeled a Cabernet Sauvignon, so this one is at least 75% Cab, with the rest most likely Merlot. There is a bit of oak to the body, but not overmuch. The tannic structure is big; imagine Rutherford dust turned up to 11 😸 The overall flavor might be described as dried black currant and unsweetened dark chocolate. Perhaps there is a splash of Petit Verdot in the mix? Kudos Mr. Parish! — 6 years ago
Delicious light acidic tastiness. Paired with grilled artichokes and salmon and a warm spring day. — 6 years ago
2015. Disgorged 2018. Delicious with caviar and oysters on New Years. — 4 years ago
Funky for sure but not overwhelmingly so. The reports of tart cherry are spot. on. The Marigny never disappoints. — 4 years ago
Naked wine. Delicious, rich but not bitey or heavy — 5 years ago
Well balanced, silky and smooth cream. Ripe pear, lemon, grass. Dry with high acidity and medium + body. Flavors of butter, cream, green apple and lime on the palate. Very tasty and easy to drink. — 5 years ago
Light, strawberry notes, crisp — 5 years ago
Fruity and zingy. Recommended by Bon Appétit! — 6 years ago
