solid wine, more tannic than some i’ve had. would definitely recommend. — 5 years ago
Wow. This was fun. Great vintage. Still wound tight. — 7 years ago
Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended. — 8 years ago
Phenomenal right after opening. After an hour it was even more so. Smooth leather dark fruit elegance. Pure Sangiovese at its finest. — 9 years ago
Remember liking it but that was a few days ago. I do remember tasting oak — 9 years ago

Nov 4, 2020. Patio wine tasting w/ Carl. This is a lovely Tuscan red. 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero. Not much fruit left, plenty of earth and leather. — 5 years ago
凝縮感のある果実味だが、ベタっとしたところは一切なく、包容力があって心地よい。ブルゴーニュグラスで。 — 7 years ago
We had this wine in Montepulciano amazing small city in Tuscany. A good Sangiovese! #montepulciano #contucci #italianwines #tuscany #sangiovese — 7 years ago

Very pleasant in its own and with Italian pasta dinner. Plum and cherry mid/after with low tannin finish. — 5 years ago
opens up to a great food wine. — 6 years ago
Very drinkable...paired nicely with pasta and fish. — 7 years ago
I really think the fruit is reduced this year. Still very smooth but not getting the raspberry and prune up front, only faint black cherry and then into tannins and black olive. Very fine grained tannins. Definitely changing from previous years. Closing down? Will have to check back in 2018. — 9 years ago
Starts light in the mouth, finishes with a nice medium spice — 10 years ago
Light in colour, aroma of cherries, spice, floral, clean and intense. Just a bit of oak. Palate is similarly vibrant, with fine tannins. Moderate length. Clean.
Great example of a 'modern' Vino Nobile. — 11 years ago
