凝縮感のある果実味だが、ベタっとしたところは一切なく、包容力があって心地よい。ブルゴーニュグラスで。 — 5 years ago
Dinner with the Nobile, fab! — 6 years ago
I really think the fruit is reduced this year. Still very smooth but not getting the raspberry and prune up front, only faint black cherry and then into tannins and black olive. Very fine grained tannins. Definitely changing from previous years. Closing down? Will have to check back in 2018. — 7 years ago
Reminiscent of Siena. Dusty musty nose. On the palate I get white pepper with a hint of anise in the back. Strawberry emerges on the finish with fairly balanced tannins. Quite good.

Per Mr. Bellizzi's suggestion, we ordered this bottle. Waiter described it as "an iron fist with a velvet glove" — 8 years ago

Full bodied (for its varietal). Black fruit, raspberry jam and a tad of mint on the nose. Balanced mature acidity. Tight, low/medium tannins. An all around excellent specimens of VNdM. — 6 years ago
Remember liking it but that was a few days ago. I do remember tasting oak — 7 years ago

Nov 4, 2020. Patio wine tasting w/ Carl. This is a lovely Tuscan red. 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero. Not much fruit left, plenty of earth and leather. — 4 years ago
Very drinkable...paired nicely with pasta and fish. — 5 years ago
We had this wine in Montepulciano amazing small city in Tuscany. A good Sangiovese! #montepulciano #contucci #italianwines #tuscany #sangiovese — 6 years ago
Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended. — 6 years ago
