I loved this wine! It reminded me of the lovely wines we had in Provence. Went back and bought 2 more bottles. So good :) — 9 years ago
Very fruity on the nose. Red ripe fruit, plums, candied cherries. Med light, med high alcohol, tannins, high acid, dry. Long finish — 3 months ago
#chardonnay #surlie nice. The barrel fermented wine from this winery is bolloks all coconut and butter. — 2 years ago
Excellent Wine especially for the price and vintage. Not complicated but with backbone and bright fruit forward taste… easy to like! — 4 years ago
Rich and extracted, raisiny. Bargain too. I preferred this to the more expensive Sil. — 6 years ago

Beautiful and perfect bodied - rich and silky yet very drinkable. Felt like I'm biting into the perfect companion to our curry. Dark cherries - sweet but not too much so. — 9 years ago
2024 vintage: fresh, acidic, some peach, lime, and apricot notes. Some minerality. Long bitter almond finish. Paired well with light salad, goat cheese and apricot preserve. Perfect summer sipper or a pre-meal palate prepper — 6 months ago
Super tasty cross between CENTRAL coast CA Pinot and southern Rhône Grenache blend. Just the right amount of fresh black cherry and gentle Mediterranean herbs - lovely, low tannin profile with balanced acidity that defies the 14.5 ALC. FABULOUS at Otto Turkish Döner :) — 3 years ago
GORGEOUS! Stone fruit, not too sweet - slightly tart. Perfumes the mouth and lingers. Just lovely — 5 years ago
Breakfast wine. Fun stuff. — 7 years ago

Fiano. Michelangelo. What more do you want? You can’t beat this wine at the price point, or at most price points. — 9 years ago

I thought I would check in on the 2018 so I brought this along for dinner at Mertz. Looking back on my experience from January of 2024, I’d say my previous notes still apply, perhaps not hitting quite the same as it did that night but not far off. This is still classically perfumed and well structured. An excellent Barolo from a tougher vintage. — 8 days ago
